Antoine Halff is the Chief Analyst and co-founder of Kayrros, a global environmental intelligence company recognized by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential companies in the world. Kayrros leverages AI to process millions of satellite images and diverse datasets daily, generating precise, actionable insights that help public and private sector actors achieve three key objectives: reducing climate footprints, protecting people and ecosystems from climate risks, and accelerating the energy transition by monitoring fossil fuel supply chains and green energy deployment. Antoine also serves as an adjunct senior research scholar at Columbia University's Center on Global Energy Policy in New York.
Previously, Antoine held prominent roles in energy analysis and research, including Chief Oil Analyst at the International Energy Agency, Lead Industry Economist at the U.S. Energy Information Administration, and Head of Commodities Research at Société Générale’s Newedge unit. He also directed the Global Energy practice at Eurasia Group, a political-risk consultancy, and served as New York Bureau Chief at Energy Intelligence group.
Antoine is the co-editor of Energy Poverty: Global Challenges and Local Solutions (Oxford University Press, 2014), a comprehensive exploration of the intersections between energy access and global development. His expertise in energy systems, climate policy, and advanced analytics aligns with the Real Estate Innovation Council’s mission to foster transformative solutions for a sustainable and resilient future.
